Villas Rd has huge potential to be an excellent part of cycling route from Plumstead Common to Woolwich, avoiding the dangers of Griffin Rd and Burrage Rd. It is already closed to through traffic, but historic design focussed on walking route and car parking. Minor changes such as dropped curbs and rearrangement or removal of some parking would have instant effect.
